Meet Lucas, Founder of Kangaroo Nomads
I’m an Aussie who has been travelling around the world for the past 4 years, and now, I want to share a special part of it with others.
I came across the country of Kyrgyzstan in 2024 and instantly felt a connection to the land and its people. As time went on, I purchased a horse and travelled across the country by horseback - a journey that would later change my life.

Driver & Horse GuideIslam is a man with a true Kyrgyz spirit. Born in the village of Kyzart, the mountains of Naryn are his backyard. Riding horses before he could walk, he is an extraordinarily talented horseman and great at Kyrgyzstan’s national game, Kok boru. Full of energy and enthusiasm, it’s always a good time with Islam on tour.
Sezim
Tour GuideSezim is a woman of many talents. An expert in traditional and horseback archery, bringing a wealth of information and skills along on tour. Sezim has great English and loves to share the Kyrgz life and culture with every guest she meets.
Chubak
Horse GuideChubak grew up along side his brothers in a family of strong riders. Moving to Son Kul lake every year, for him it’s home. After guiding tourists in the Naryn Region for many years, he brings experience and safety to any tour with Kangaroo Nomads.
