We’ve partnered with Turan Horse Archery to offer a unique experience travelling on horseback alongside members of the Kyrgyzstan horseback archery team, spending nights in traditional nomad yurt camps, and meeting a local golden eagle hunter.

Ride over red canyons & multiple mountain passes to reach the horseback archery camp.

8-day camp program.

Morning pickup from Bishkek and we drive to the shores of Issyk-Kul lake.
Stop at a local vilage to have lunch and learn about the history of the traditional yurt.
We spend our first night in a small village with a Kyrgyz family.

After breakfast we get in the saddle and start our horseback archery journey into the mountains.
4-5 hours riding. sleeping at local yurt camp

We prepare to take on our second mountain pass and arrive at base camp. We test out our bows and begin basic training

After learning the fundamentals of horseback archery on the ground. Progress into the saddle.

Progressing to shooting from a moving horse, followed by an afternoon of national games.
In the evening ride to natural hot springs.
